A horrifying video showing a trainer in the West Bengali district of Ranaghat severely abusing a woman inside Bodylab Power Gym has gone viral. The horrifying deed was captured on camera in the video that a user on X uploaded. The woman in the video was exercising at the gym when the semi n*de male trainer approached her. Later, the woman was observed crying and yelling for help as he pulled her to the ground and abused her severely, punching and kicking her in the face and body.

After the video went viral online, many X users voiced their concerns about the victim’s lack of help in such a painful situation and pushed for women’s protection. They also complained about the government’s tardy response.

District police have apprehended the culprit
But the Ranaghat District Police didn’t waste any time in assuring the public that the victim was secure. In addition, the victim took legal action against the offenders, and in response, the authorities verified that the defaulter had been located and taken into custody through a post they had made on social media site X.
People go to gyms to improve their physical health and well-being, and when attempting to lose weight, it’s critical to feel supported and at ease. The government has surely been compelled by the West Bengal event to tighten regulations regarding women’s safety in gyms. All staff members must undergo thorough background checks at gyms, especially trainers who deal directly with clients.
